Bizonmars
The remarkable title of this rousing march refers to the emblem of the 43rd Mechanised Brigade: a bison. The bison symbolises the brigade’s striking power. It is a peaceful animal, but if you anger it, it reveals its enormous strength. The large, strong bison is also fast. All these characteristics are reflected in the 43rd Mechanised Brigade. The brigade can be deployed rapidly, but only demonstrates its strength when the situation demands it.
The premiere will take place during the KMKJWF concert, conducted by Frans-Aert Burghgraef, on 9 December 2026 at De Meenthe Theatre in Steenwijk.
