A Musical Fantasy
This piece was commissioned by Kunstfactor the Netherlands because of the Swinds Project. (Swing for Winds) The work is based on several wellknown 'Musical Styles':
The composition starts with a sparkling Ouverture. Then a cheerful Allegro, referring to the 'Hollywood/Entertainment - music', leads us into a quiet, romantic popballad. A Musical Fantasy concludes with a swinging, jazzy finale.
Besides the regular windorchestra, a Piano, Bass Guitar and Drumset have been added. In the Score and Parts you can find some Side Skills: These Warming Ups are very helpfull for studying the composition.
